For every Season of Life, God’s Grace is Sufficient

(2 Corinthians 12:9)

You may be going through a winter season of your life where things look bleak, but know it’s only for a season, Summer is coming.

Jesus said, My Grace, My power, authority and Holy Spirit who lives inside you, will see you through any and every adversity, challenge and/or problem you face in every season of life. It doesn’t matter what you are facing: mental problems, emotional, physical, or relationship problems. You may be experiencing loss of self-esteem, loneliness, depression, sickness, or money problems—all are covered by the blood of Jesus. He has given us all-sufficiency, all the time. His grace is sufficient to overcome any problem, and having done all, we will come through it stronger than when we began; not only for our personal growth, but so that we can reach back and pull someone else up when they are in their winter season.

Paul was shipwrecked three times. (2 Corinthians 11:25) Three times he was in a boat out at sea in storms so bad, the ship fell apart and he was stranded in the ocean. He was more than up the creek without a paddle, he was bobbing up and down in the middle of the ocean without a boat all night and day. But, God’s grace, power and authority was sufficient. It was all Paul needed to safely reach the shore.

Five times Paul received 39 lashes from the Jews; three times He was beaten with rods, and was stoned once. People weren’t stoned to be punished a little—they were stoned to be dead. The mob that stoned him thought he was dead, that’s why they left, but God’s grace was sufficient, and Paul got up and walked away with probable bruises, black eyes, broken nose, cuts, gashes and abrasions. Why? Because Jesus said His grace was sufficient.

God’s power and authority, which He imparted to us, which is in us, strengthens and empowers us to do all things. Philippians 4:13 says: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Likewise, Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper.”

It doesn’t matter what season we are in, God has it covered. His Grace is sufficient. Lean on Him for strength, guidance, direction, protection, wisdom; He not only knows what the problem is—He has the answer for every problem in every season. Rejoice. Summer is coming.
